Within just a week of meeting, Thabani confidently (and perhaps a little recklessly) told Bevlyn he was going to marry her. Whether it was the chaos of COVID, the stress of audit season, or simply love at first sight, we may never know — but Bevlyn was glad he kept his promise.

Their first date was on July 17, 2020, at Avani Stratos Restaurant. It was also the day Thabani discovered just how trusting Bevlyn could be. In the middle of the date, he rushed off, leaving Bevlyn alone without a wallet to check if he’d turned off the stove at home. Thankfully, he returned — because things could have gone truly awkward!

The 2020 Christmas turned into an unexpected adventure. Bevlyn, while doing a favor for Thabani, caught COVID in the streets of work… and in an ironic twist, passed it to him. Their travel plans were canceled, but instead they spent the holidays together — quarantined, cozy, and creating memories they’ll never forget.

Fast forward to 27 November 2022: in the middle of the Namib Desert’s Deadvlei, Thabani went down on one knee — far from any sign of humanity, so Bevlyn had no choice but to say “YES!!!” A few months later, on 9 April 2023, the cows came home to the Paradzas for their traditional wedding. They were so happy, they even made it official at the Magistrate Court — and now, here they are, ready to celebrate again as they become The N3s!
